I’m very pleased to see the great young man that you have grown up to be and I am happy that I played a part in helping you find your way.
I speak on behalf of myself and my grandson. We can’t thank Mr. Shields enough for all of his years through the YMCA of volunteering his own time. For us personally, it was almost 7 years. My grandson was a few months away of receiving his second Dan at the same time of becoming a 17-year-old, moving to a new resident and getting his first vehicle. Sadly, that took him away for a while. Now my grandson realizes a value as he looks back, try’s to stop in and visit and participate with Mr. Shields when he can get there on time from work. I think Mr. Shields from the bottom of my heart for everything that he is, for everything he inspires and for his love for all of his students. They don’t come better than this. Thank you Mr. Shields for being you.

You are very welcome I can say from the bottom of my heart that it has been my pleasure from day one.
Master Shields has volunteered for many years at the YMCA working with both children and adults teaching Taekwondo. He has taught my two children for 10 years. My children developed confidence, respect, and self control with the guidance of Master Shields while growing up. He is there for the kids to help guide them through issues as a role model and mentor. His new location has given him the ability to grow and help more people through the art of Taekwondo. As a single mother raising 2 children we have never had an issue and have always been happy. I’m very grateful for Master Shields for all he has done for my children.

Thank you for the kind words and great review. I also appreciate the advancement in rank to (Master) I will receive that on my next promotion. I have enjoyed watching your son grow from a small boy into a fine young man and accomplished martial artist I hope he continues his journey with me and receives the rank of Master himself one day.
I have been training at this Taekwondo studio since I was a little kid, and I can honestly say it has been one of the most life changing experiences. Now a black belt, I look back and realize just how much I’ve learned and how much this place has shaped me. The instructor here is nothing short of amazing. He has not only taught me incredible technical skills in Taekwondo but has been one of the best and biggest role models in my life. His influence has been profound, and I’ve seen him change so many lives, including my own.Through his guidance, I’ve developed an amazing level of courage, discipline, and confidence, not just in the dojo, but in life. He’s helped me cultivate skills that extend far beyond fighting. Such as; respect, kindness, and a desire to protect the people I care about, as well as those who can’t defend themselves. Without him and this incredible studio, I wouldn’t be the person I am today: stronger, faster, smarter, more skilled, and more hardworking. Taekwondo has truly made me a better person, and I am so grateful for everything I’ve learned here. This studio has been my second home, and the impact it’s had on my life is priceless. If you’re looking for a place to not only improve your fighting skills but also become a better, more respectful person, this is the place to be.

I’m very proud of the young Man that you have become and I hope you continue to grow in Taekwon-Do and in life. Never stop learning Sir,it is the secret of life.
Aaron Shields is a terrific instructor. My son is autistic and couldn’t stand on one leg. He had no balance. Aaron was patient and supportive. He worked with and encouraged him all the time. My son is now a second degree black belt.

I wanted to thank you Sir for the review but more in the confidence that you and your Wife had in me to teach your son over the years of his training. Aiden made me a better instructor and a more patient person in the process.
Excellent teacher. Both of my boys started at 8 and 10. My younger son continued all the way through high school into college. They learned more than just TaeKwondo, they learned social skills ,respect for others and teamwork.

Thank you for the kind words and the opportunity to teach your boys and watch them turn into fine young men as well.
I trained with Mr. Shields for about 9 years. I started at the age of 5 in 2011 and I am grateful to have I grown up in this dojang. As for myself, words can’t describe what taekwondo meant for my childhood and what Mr. Shields taught me throughout. It shaped me as a person through an authentic lens and gave me the self confidence and discipline that is needed to never give up. Because of this school I had the opportunity to get my 1st degree black belt at nine and second degree black belt at 12 which is an achievement I still pride myself on greatly. As for Mr Shields, his passion for taekwondo shines bright and inspired me and continues to inspire others. And I am so proud to see that he is taking over the school there’s no better guy for the job. He’s not just my instructor but a human I always will looked up to. No matter what happened, he always put the students 1st and always held our best interest at heart. Mr shields is the best and only instructor I have ever had and i believe anyone any age can be enlightened by taekwondo itself, and by this school as a whole.

Few things in my life have given me greater joy than watching you develop into the great person and fine martial artist that you became. I started teaching you at the age of five and had never tried teaching kids that young before.I learned to be a better instructor by teaching you and all the kids in the YMCA school during that time and watching you achieve the rank of 2nd Dan by the age of twelve is one of my fondest memories as a instructor and especially as your Grandfather.
My Grandchildren ages 8 and 10 started Taekwondo with Aaron about 3 weeks ago. Having never done this before I was a little worried but Aaron was very attentive to this and they immediately fell in love with the classes. I highly recommend Citrus Martial Arts and Wellness Center
